Update Attendee Overview – The Status of Your Attendees at a Glance

Update doo Teilnehmerübersicht - Neuer Statusbalken

New Summary in the Attendee Overview

The attendee overview provides you with an overview of the registrations for your event: How many people are registered? How many of them have not yet paid? How many have already checked in? You can now answer these questions more easily and quickly. Instead of the previous tabular list in the summary, you can see at a glance how your registrations are progressing using the status bar chart. But don’t worry: if you need a breakdown by status and ticket category, you will still find this when you expand the summary.

Usually, the attendee overview is used to manage the people who actually come to the event. We have therefore focused the standard view on these people. If you still want to know how many people have been canceled, rejected or dropped from the waiting list, you can view this at any time in the “No attendance” tab.

The attendee list in the second part of the page is now also pre-filtered and by default only lists those attendees who are (potentially) coming to the event. If necessary, you can adjust the filters as usual. If you want to quickly filter for all attendees of a status, you can alternatively click on the status bar in the summary.

Clean-Up of the Attendee States

Many of our customers have repeatedly told us that attendees from aborted and replaced bookings interfere with the overview and distort the picture. For this reason, these attendees will no longer be included in the attendee overview with immediate effect.

Attendees from aborted bookings were previously listed as “Payment outstanding” and those from replaced bookings as inactive. The inactive status is now no longer displayed. Payment outstanding now only includes attendees from bookings where the selection of the payment method is still open or where the ticket or check-in option only becomes valid after receipt of payment and this payment is still outstanding (for payment method prepayment).

Please note that due to the loss of attendees from aborted and replaced bookings for ongoing events, the figures may change, particularly in the “Payment outstanding” status.

Another adjustment concerns the name of the attendee status “Completed”. This has been renamed “Expected”. The term “Completed” derived from active bookings whose payment has been completed. However, the booking status “Completed” is not congruent with the attendee status. In the case of purchase on account via Novalnet, for example, an attendee may already have a valid ticket (and was therefore previously considered “Completed”), although the payment has not yet been completed. At the same time, an attendee of a completed booking can also already be checked in. We wanted to clarify this difference by differentiating in the naming.

Further information on the attendee overview and states can be found here in our Help Center.

Default Filtering in the Booking Overview

In addition to the attendee overview, we have also given the booking overview a small but nice update: aborted bookings have been removed from the standard filtering here. This means that you will not see aborted bookings in the list when you come to the page. However, you can display the aborted bookings at any time by adjusting the filter settings. The booking details can also still be viewed.

More Prominent Visualization of Applied Filters

To make it easier to understand which filters are currently active in the overviews, applied filters are now highlighted in color. You will also see a new display showing the number of filters applied.

Summary

In the revised attendee overview, you can see the status of your (potential) attendees at your event at a glance. The tabular list of numbers by ticket category and status provides you with deeper insights if required.
